All athletic events for the remainder of the week have been cancelled.
As you are aware, Hurricane Ike is predicted to hit the Texas coast sometime later this week or weekend. We are doing our best to stay abreast of the latest weather so that we can make school related decisions. We will continue to monitor the situation throughout the weekend. If there is ever a question in regards to school closure due to weather related issues, you can get closure information on KENS 5, KSAT 12, and WOAI television stations. In addition the information will be on WOAI and KJ97 radio stations.
It is our plan to keep things as normal for our students as is possible. We appreciate your help and consideration at all times, but especially during a time like this.
