Stockdale ISD Bond Update
THANK YOU so much to the Stockdale Community for passing this bond that is going to make a huge impact on students for years to come. As an update, substantial progress has been made so far on Bond Projects that were a result of the November election. The following projects have been completed along with projected completion for the ongoing components of the projects:
- 1) All 5 A/C units were installed on route buses over Spring Break.
- 2) 54 additional interior/exterior cameras have been installed as outlined in a portion of the Safety & Security needs.
- 3) Asbestos Abatement and Building Demolition was completed over Spring Break.
- 4) Access door controls, district-wide are to be completed by end of June.
- 5) Junior High Gym with Stage and Science Classrooms / Lab planning is still underway. Construction is anticipated to take 10 months with a tentative move-in of July 2020.
