Wilson County Roadrunners Scholarship

The Wilson County Road Runners (WCRR) is a charitable, local group that promotes community wellness by providing a fun and encouraging environment for runners and walkers to make new friends. The club meets twice a month at varying locations in Wilson County. Novice and experienced runners and walkers are all welcome! In addition to this scholarship program, our club also makes charitable donations targeting improvements to the accessibility of running and walking activities for our local community.
Our scholarship is available to seniors of Floresville, La Vernia, Poth and Stockdale High Schools and applicable to seniors who will be enrolling in a college or university program in the fall of 2019. The applicant should have a sound academic and disciplinary e-record and must show an interest in the pursuit of running or other fitness related activities. The scholarship for the 2018-2019 academic school year is for $1,000.00 and will be sent to the selected applicant for payment of tuition, fees, and other associated costs upon evidence of enrollment.
