Background:
The Dakota Kotara Memorial Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was founded to honor Dakota Kotara aka Kody, and his love for helping others involved in FFA, 4H and community services.
Summary of Award:
The Dakota Kotara Memorial Scholarship of $500 will be awarded to six recipients this year. One scholarship will be awarded to a Stockdale FFA/4H Member. Three scholarships will be awarded to a Wilson Co. 4H Member or FFA Member of Floresville, LaVernia and Poth school districts. Two scholarships will be awarded to a Karnes Co. 4H Member or FFA Member of Karnes City and Falls City school district. The recipient must be a high school senior that will be enrolling in a four-year college, university or trade school.
