Wilson County Road Runners Scholarship Application

The Wilson County Road Runners is a local group who promotes community wellness by providing a fun and encouraging environment for runners and walkers to make new friends. The club meets the 2nd & 4th Saturdays of each month in varying locations in Wilson County. Novice & experienced runners & walkers are welcome! Water is provided on the routes.
Our scholarship is available to seniors of Floresville, La Vernia, Poth and Stockdale High Schools and will be awarded to qualified graduating high school seniors who will be enrolling in a college or university program. The applicant should have a sound academic and discipline record and show an interest in the pursuit of running or other fitness related activity. The scholarship for the 2017-2018 academic school year is $750.00 and will sent to the successful applicant for payment of tuition, fees and other associated costs upon evidence of enrollment.
