James Bader Scholarship

James Bader Scholarship application offered by the Texas Public Works Association (TPWA), South Central Branch. The South Central Texas Chapter of the TPWA established the James Bader Scholarship Fund in 2000. It honors Mr. James Bader, P.E. from the Department of Public Works, City of San Antonio, Texas.
The Scholarship Fund was created to provide scholarships for the higher education of persons living in the APWA Texas Chapter South Central Branch area who wish to continue their education in a specific course of study. The enclosed application details the required course of study, but generally includes engineering, public administration, business or other types of course work that could ultimately lend itself toward public service.
It is the goal of the Branch to award four (4) - $1,500 higher education scholarships. Applications must be postmarked on or before April 29, 2017 to allow time for review and presentation of the award prior to the Fall College semester.
