Notice to Parents
Dear Parents & Community,
On Thursday, February 23, 2017 a Stockdale student was walking to school near the Stockdale Nursing Home around 8:00 am when the student was approached by an elderly man in a white truck. The man offered the student a ride to school. The student did not accept the ride and continued walking to school. The man was described as an elderly white male with grey hair and no facial hair. He was wearing a green t-shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes. He was driving a white truck with possible rust marks on the vehicle. He had three medium sized dogs in the cab of the truck. If you see any suspicious activity, person or vehicle that matches this description please call the Wilson County Sheriff's office at 830-393-2535. The Wilson County Sheriff's office will provide extra police presence near Stockdale lSD and the surrounding neighborhoods.
If you are the parent of a student that normally walks home from school, please consider picking them up from school or putting them on the bus.
