The San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind & Visually Impaired seeks to promote further education for students that exhibit motivation, strong character and concern for others. Emma Freeman, the founder of this scholarship, believed that education is essential to achieving one’s full potential and becoming a full participant in society. Scholarship amounts are up to $5000 a year.
