Birds Of Prey Visit

Stockdale Elementary students received a visit from Birds Of Prey on March 19, 2010. Birds of Prey is a non-profit organization whose mission is to treat injured and orphaned wildlife; such as eagles, hawks, falcons and owls to return to their natural habitat. The students were taught the importance of respecting and enjoying the wildlife around them. Some of the visiting birds included; Bald Eagle, hawk, and an owl.
All the students took a pledge at the conclusion of the presentation to always respect, and protect natures wonderful Birds Of Prey.
